Hyster-Yale engaged AMPS to consult and review their current contracts, to propose a solution that encumbered a wide range of
fit-for purpose technology, aligned to their business needs. This meant reviewing all existing, multiple technology contracts and consolidating into one new agreement, with a single monthly invoice.
Data &Telecommunications upgrade delivered a new 100/100Mb Business Grade fibre connection as well as including 30 new SIP voice trunks to ensure a reliable platform with full redundancy to Hyster-Yale’s Milperra Offices. Additionally, as part of the
solution, AMPS configured secure MPLS routing between Hyster-Yale’s regional HQ in Singapore and Australia.
Printer Consolidation was key to reducing overall cost while improving management of the entire printer and copier fleet at
Hyster-Yale. Multiple desktop printers with high costing toners, inefficient print queues with limited security and no management tools in place proved challenging. The new, Best-of-Breed fleet of fully managed Samsung and Fuji-Xerox hardware ensured high speed and availability with cost-effective printing and scanning.
AMPS-connect management software was implemented allowing us to manage the Hyster-Yale fleet in real time, with a 4-hour SLA, auto-toner replenishment, and paper supply under one cost per page.
Smart Business tools were also implemented as part of the overall technology solution. Intuitive, 75-inch smart screens improved the meeting and conference room experience, while Logitech conference equipment ensured Hyster-Yale had all the tools for a truly unified meeting facility.
A Customised Visitor Management solution was also included with automated staff notifications, photo registration, induction acceptance forms and printed photo visitor labels. The integrated software with I-Pad interface, ensured a secure reception desk, without the need of FTE’s, along with visitor tracking and reporting.
